How many scholarships are available?
300 in total for the 2026 intake — 200 for students starting their degree at Denning in first year, and 100 for students transferring in from another UK university teaching centre.
What does the scholarship cover?
Denning’s tuition fee only — 100% of it, for the remaining duration of your degree. It is a single award with no partial tiers, and the same award applies on both entry routes.
Does it cover the University of London or Greenwich fees?
No. The awarding university charges its own fees — registration, module and examination fees — directly to you, and those are not part of this scholarship. The award covers what Denning charges for tuition. Other costs such as books, travel, accommodation and living expenses are also not covered.
Who counts as a transfer student?
Anyone currently enrolled on a UK degree at another recognised teaching centre who wants to complete that degree at Denning. Your completed modules are assessed for credit transfer, so you continue your degree rather than start it again.
Which degrees can I apply for?
Any of the UK undergraduate degrees Denning delivers — five from the University of London and five from the University of Greenwich. The full list is in the Degrees covered section above.
Will my degree be awarded by a UK university?
Yes. Your degree is awarded by the University of London or the University of Greenwich, exactly as it would be for a student studying in the UK. Denning is the teaching centre.
Is there an application fee?
No. Applying for the The Lord Paul Boateng Student Excellence Scholarship is completely free, with no charges at any stage.
Where will I study?
At the Denning Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship (DITE), Rawalpindi Campus.
